Accepted Insurance
Joybrain Counseling is in-network with many different insurers including Kaiser, Beacon, Anthem, Aetna, United, and many Medicaid plans. Please see individual clinician bios to determine what insurance each provider accepts.
Our billing team is happy to provide confirmation of benefits and to verify benefits before you start services, so please reach out to use with any questions! Please note that any information we receive from insurers is subject to change depending on your plan and time of year, so please update us with any new information. The information we receive from your insurer is an estimate and clients are ultimately responsible for any costs not covered by insurance.
If your plan is not in-network, we can offer you a super bill to submit to insurance or discuss private payment options. Private pay clients are accepted at a rate of $125/ hour. All private pay clients are able to request a good faith estimate prior to starting services.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost.
Under the law, Health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for total expected cost of any health care items of services. The Good Faith Estimate shows the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services and equipment.
- You may request a Good Faith Estimate in advance of an already scheduled health care service or item, or before scheduling an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
